13 years of Los Santos
Today marks another anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V and the last one before Grand Theft Auto VI finally arrives After 1000+ hours in GTA V Legacy across both Story and Online Mode, I can honestly say this game became far more than just another game I played, It became a constant Across different years, different phases of my life and different circumstances GTA V was always there. Sometimes for a serious session, sometimes just to waste a few hours and sometimes for absolutely no reason other than getting online with friends and seeing what kind of chaos we could create and that is probably what I will remember the most Over the years, GTA Online gave me countless reasons to stay connected with friends. We completed storylines, missions, heists, challenges, races, jobs, Easter eggs, mysteries, hidden content and practically everything Los Santos had to offer. We bought the properties, collected the vehicles, built businesses, completed the content and experienced years of updates together But the real value was never the money the cars or the properties, It was everything that happened while getting them ! The random moments The stupid plans that somehow worked The plans that absolutely did not work The races that turned into chaos The heists that should have taken 20 minutes and somehow took two hours The things we discovered by accident The things we still laugh about years later Some games give you content Some games give you memories GTA V managed to do both I've played games across countless genres and experienced a lot of different franchises over the years, and I say this as a fan without blind loyalty: the GTA series has continued to move in the direction it needed to go, GTA V did not need another review explaining its gameplay, world design, content or attention to detail; After all these years the game has already proven its place in the industry by itself Even technically, GTA V continued to evolve; Its PC versions became increasingly mature, adaptable and polished across a wide range of hardware; I personally experienced this game on three different PC configurations over the years and somehow Los Santos kept giving me reasons to come back And now, after all this time we are finally standing at the end of an era GTA VI is coming But GTA V is not going anywhere Even when VI takes over, I know there will be moments when I launch GTA V again, drive through Los Santos, hear a familiar song on the radio, meet up with old friends and suddenly remember a completely different period of my life; That is what makes this game difficult to replace I am genuinely grateful that GTA V gave me so many years of being around close friends and even gave me the chance to meet new people through its world. I hope GTA VI can create that same kind of environment, new stories, friendships, chaos and another collection of memories that will last for years 1000+ hours Countless updates Countless sessions Countless memories GTA V was never just a game I played for years It was a game I lived through different years with And no matter how far GTA VI takes the series, Los Santos will always be somewhere worth coming back to.
I have been playing this game for 6 years across two different accounts, and i have +2000 Hours Time Play Of This Legend. even after all this time, I still haven't found a game better than GTA V. Grand Theft Auto V is still one of the best open-world games I have ever played. The Story Mode has an amazing story, memorable characters, and a huge world to explore. Franklin, Michael, and Trevor each bring something different to the experience. The missions are fun and the world feels alive even when you're not doing a mission. Los Santos is incredibly detailed, and there are always new things to discover. GTA Online makes the game even better with tons of activities and content. Playing with friends makes the experience much more fun and entertaining. There are many vehicles, businesses, races, missions, and different ways to play. I also really like how GTA Online has continued to receive new content over the years. The driving, graphics, sound, and overall atmosphere are still impressive. Even after many hours, the game doesn't feel completely repetitive. You can play it casually or spend hundreds of hours building your own progress. GTA V is definitely a game I would recommend to anyone who enjoys open-world games. Overall, it's an incredible combination of Story Mode and Online that is still worth playing.
Very fun, A classic if your bored or just want a fantastic story game. Highly recommend for its freedom, extremely large map and main storyline. Great game.
It's kinda like GTA V Enhanced, but instead of Enhanced, it's Legacy. It's also kinda like GTA VI, but instead of VI, it's V. It's also kinda like a decent game, but instead of decent, it's good.
I liked stealing cop cars and driving along the west coast.
only playing cos of sunk cost fallacy this game is a prison
From one of the most awesome Game Studio; Rockstar Games to Woke Ahh "rockstar games" these woke developers adding more and more woke slop, makes me wanna throw it all up. Specailly the AUTO SHOP Update makes me very freaking mad! listening 2 fa99ot gooning each other!1!! While, I m trying to have fun with my friends. Our character gets antagonized by 2 gooner, which is our Online character like a semi-god in the game, can do whatever he/she wants just gets humiliatied most of the time. It's not enough that they uploading woke slop brain washed updates. We got "Battleye Anti-Cheat" but yet some how these half blind chinese low intelligent players uses cheat everytime I hop on a server. Anyone can find them by their nickname (ching lu, yang chu, ling hu) some of the names like this. I m really tired of it and I m really thirtsy for not playing this game clean as how neither xbox or ps5 is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME unless You wanna play FIVEM/SP
This game's Online mode is so far the worst time I had trying to get a game working on Linux. This is not my fault for not using Windows, nor is it the fault of Proton, Rockstar knowingly blocked off Linux users for no good reason. A night of troubleshooting finally got me into a private lobby, which is thankfully all I need, and the game works decently after, but don't even bother playing in public ones. I foolishly thought playing the Legacy version will get me better results, but they just had to retroactively add the same anti-cheat to this version too.
Can't play GTA V online on Linux for some reason.
