Version 2026-10-01. This page covers the account you can create on SIB.
Account
If you create an account we store your username, email, the time you confirmed you are 13 or older, and the version and time of the terms and privacy policy you accepted. A password is stored only as a hash, and only if you set one. Sessions store a token, expiry, and the IP address and browser string from the sign-in request. You can turn product email on or off.
Linked accounts
Google and Apple sign-in store the identifier those services give us, plus the tokens needed to keep the link. If you link Steam, we store your SteamID64, the display name, and the avatar Steam returns for that account. Review collection still throws away other people's Steam IDs. We do not keep a Steam ID unless it belongs to an account you linked yourself.
Watchlist
Signed out, the watchlist stays in this browser or on this phone. Signed in, it is stored on your account. The first sign-in copies the on-device list into the account.
Points
Points are not offered in this version. When they are, SIB will store an append-only record of how they were earned and spent. Points have no cash value. They can expire after 12 months without use and can be removed for abuse. The rules are in the terms.
Ads
This version has no advertising SDK. When rewarded ads are added to the app, the ad network processes the device data it needs to show and verify an ad. Watching an ad will be optional.
Reviews
Steam review quotes on game pages are public text from Steam. Community reviews, when they exist, are public with your username. Deleting your account removes your personal data and leaves those reviews under the name Deleted user.
