Left 4 Dead 2 is undoubtedly the greatest coop shooter of all time. it has infinite replay value that has allowed it to be my most played game on Steam and the multiplayer has lead to me meet some amazing people. This infinite replay value is due to the genius RNG, workshop content/mods and the way-ahead-of-its-time "Director" mechanic as well as Valve's attention to detail especially in the writing of the characters and the world you play in. Competitors in recent years have attempted to replicate Left 4 Dead 2's formula and made some decent games but they still fall flat on their faces in comparison with Left 4 Dead 2 despite it's almost two decade old age. it also runs on basically any computer these days making it extremely accessible. Getting it full price is a fair deal but when it goes on sale for as little as €3 it is one of the biggest "bang for your buck" purchases on Steam.
Fun easy game. Nicer graphics would be nice.
a close friend got me this game <3 it was really fun playing with him it's definitely easier and more fun to play with friends for sure veryyyy long game but worth putting time into
One of my favourite games of all time, workshop is goated, being able to kill Nazi zombies and Witchler while Shrek chases you, an anime girl tries pinning you down and Snoop Dogg wrapping his tongue around you 10/10 game
I've never seen a game so horrendously ruined by it's own player base. Don't get me wrong, this game can be fun if you get a proper group together that understands and plays the game with the intent that was put behind it, but the players that still actively partake in this game are so unforgivably tarnished by their own hubris it borders on villainous intent. Any one mistake on a player's part isn't something to be worked with in the interest of success, it's to be corrected by kicking them from the game and then talking ♥♥♥♥ on the rest of the players for not picking up the irreplaceable slack of even a NEW player. Your experience with randoms on this game will make you wonder who could have possibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ their wives to muster such avid racism and vitriol. Playing this game with friends will be your only option to really enjoy it how it should be played - otherwise, you are playing an unfavorable gamble that you may think is hiding a treasure but is actually just pain and misery telling you 'it's worth it bro, trust'.
A classic, but I always get kicked from online games. Not very fun alone.
