  • It was an odd feeling I got looking at certain art assets, but deciding to look into it I found that there are indeed some AI generated art assets in the game (but I guess the developers did make everything else including the creatures/aniimo). Personally on the fence about it, since I love the gameplay, I wasn't planning on paying to support the devs anytime soon, and now AI art is a strong contender for why. TLDR: Game uses AI art assets despite having most of the world be made by humans. Will keep playing but will definitely not spend on it unless they get rid of the AI art.

  • Really liking the games art style, aniimo, and the world. It looks breathtaking at times. But the story man... They started talking on and on about perfumes for I think literally 2 hours and I kinda just zoned out... Recommend tying if you like creature collectors but don't expect a good story.

  • https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3809029677 The game is wonderful and immediately captivating. In short, it reminds me of the game Palworld, and there are some similarities. I recommend playing it to relax in the evening. I wish you a pleasant playthrough. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3809029565 P.S. Please don’t leave a note next to the object you need to interact with! This is a nuisance for people! Leave them a little farther away from such objects. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

  • Honestly a little too intrusive for my enjoyment. Yea everything in the world tracks you now. Creating a startup thing to track me despite uninstalling the game is NOT OK

  • I was just going to give a review that it runs incredibly poorly even on the lowest graphics settings, but then I learned the game is riddled with generative AI in both design, art and music and I simply can't recommend this game to anyone because of it. Here's the most recent thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterTamerWorld/comments/1wmhnfb/warnings_about_aniimo_undisclosed_ai_unethical/ This is an incredibly disappointing discovery, to say the least. The main gimmick of the game is very interesting and even if the premise of the story feels very basic, I did intrigue me enough to sit through an insane amount of lag and loading screens. I feel almost embarrassed to admit I was searching online for any other platforms for the game to have been released on, only to find out they specifically didn't want to release for the switch 2 because they'd have to work harder to optimise the game and "spend time on upkeep"... figures. After the discovery of the generative AI, I can't help but wonder how much of the game's coding is "vibe coded" or otherwise filled in with AI. It'd explain a lot... That's the thing a lot of developers don't seem to realise these days. Once people find out AI has been used in one aspect of the game, you immediately lose the trust of your players. If AI was used for this bit, who's to say AI hasn't been used for all of it? Believe it or not, but a lot of people don't want to support a practise that takes away work from artists AND harms the environment more at the same time. So this is your reminder to just play any of the other unplayed games in your steam library...
