This game doesn't explain itself in the very slightest, and I just felt utterly lost throughout my whole attempt at playing this.

nowadays, mechanically over-bloated and a far, far departure from the original, gameplay-wise. would love a way to play the pre-RoT updates some day. i miss the old mechanics a lot, when the game felt more like don't starve+.

great game perhaps but I will never know lol you will never get comfortable playing this game not even after 30 hours of figuring it out, so unless you have a pro friend willing to drag you through it, or you don't mind spending half your playtime buried in guides and wikis, I can't recommend it to everyone.
