• I recently started to look after older children books on my thriftstore visits, to use for my scrapbooking addiction. And you know what? Tukoni: Forest Keepers feels like someone took a beautifully illustrated childrens book, painted it with tiny forest creatures, mushrooms, herbal tea and autumn leaves... and then let me crawl inside it for a few hours. Yep! The artwork is so so amazing! And i am still thinking about it. You travel through this wonderfully colored forest and helping everyone prepare for winter. And when I say everyone, I mean all kinds of tiny woodland beans who have VERY important autumn business to attend to. So you simply wander around these gorgeous hand-drawn areas, collect small items help the forest friends solve puzzles, discover small paths and tiny details, gather herbs and make different teas. AND YES! YOU CAN MAKE LITTLE FOREST FRIENDS TEA! They even have their own personal favorites. Truely 10/10. Gaming has peaked. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3807772957 The puzzles arent super difficult, but i personally liked that for this game. They only give your brain a gentle little thinking, without you sit questioning your whole intelligence haha. Oh! and there is also your little notebook to help you along the way! So the game really isnt interested in stressing you out either. You can also find small cozy spots scattered throughout the world where you can simply... sit. Thats it. Sit by the water. Rest between the autumn leaves. Look around. Enjoy the sounds and atmosphere for a moment before continuing. It is truely one of the most gentle and calm adventure point&click games, i ever played. It is basically telling you ''Hi! Take it easy. You don’t have to rush. Just sit here for a little while. Breathe, slow down, and watch the beautiful colors of the autumn leaves.🍂🤎'' https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3807772810

 • "Cozy game" can mean so much these days that it has almost lost any meaning. But I'm pretty sure if you made a diagram of all the different games that some people consider "cozy", Tukoni would be in the overlap that everyone agrees on. It's probably also the kind of game that the critics of Cozy Games hate the most, because it's pure escapism into an old-fashioned idyllic fantasy world with no serious conflict or difficult topics whatsoever. Me, I'm in camp "my life is difficult enough, give me a little break". As are, I'd imagine, the Ukrainian devs of this game. The visuals are a love letter to European autumn forests and nostalgic countryside cottages, generously sprinkled with cute animals and fantasy creatures. I really appreciate the art direction by someone who's clearly familiar with the scenery that's portrayed. For some of the puzzles it's an advantage to recognise real-life trees and herbs, but there are drawings to help you out. The soundtrack is pleasant and relaxing, the sound effects well done, everything feels polished. You can get through the main story in 2-3 hours, but the game invites you to hang out in its world, find optional shenanigans, and to brew everyone's favourite herbal tea. A few things that bothered me a bit: The wordless storytelling, as per usual... Not my kind of thing, and I'm very bad at interpreting it. There were lots of comic strips trying to tell me something and I often had no idea what. The main message I got from this game is that everyone loves apple pie. Good enough moral. I also found some of the puzzles surprisingly unintuitive, much more so than in the Prologue. Or perhaps it's the cognitive decline after Covid (: I had to use a guide several times. The other thing is Male Default Syndrome, though thankfully it mostly shows in the trading card descriptions. The game does mention that there's a character called She-Bear. She seems to be the only bear in the game, and none of the male-by-default animals are called He-something. Why can't she just be Bear? Because she's "the only one in the forest who bakes pies"? That's a lie anyway, she made ME do all the work (and I'm pretty sure our Tukoni is supposed to be male lol)! Anyway, other than that, everything about this game just [strike]screams[/strike] softly whispers cosy. * * * If you like chill and story-driven games, check out my curator Peaceful Adventures and Stories. • Amazing little game! The atmosphere is sooo relaxing, and everything is just so beautiful. The sounds, the art, every single Tukoni and all the locations make you want to stop and look at every little corner of the game. I think this is a perfect game for people who love just... looking at beautiful things. The colors, the textures, all the tiny details - everything fits together so nicely. And I absolutely love the idea of helping these little creatures who need you. It’s just such a cozy, wholesome and beautiful experience. 🍵

 • What a beautifully cozy game, with stunning animations! The work put into the styling of the game is wonderful and all of the characters have so much personality! 10/10 would recommend.
