Honestly wasn't expecting a free game to be this good, but Sheepy: A Short Adventure completely blew me away. The level of polish and care put into this project is incredible. The pixel art is super detailed and atmospheric, but the music is really what sets it apart. Since it's tied to MrSuicideSheep, I figured the soundtrack would be decent, but the way the music syncs with the gameplay—especially during the boss fights and chase sequences—gives you actual chills. The movement feels tight and responsive, which is crucial for a platformer. Nothing ever feels clunky or unfair. The base story is short, but going back to hunt down all the hidden vinyls and unlock every single achievement made me appreciate the level design even more. If you enjoy games like Celeste, Hollow Knight, or just appreciate solid indie platformers with amazing music, do yourself a favor and play this. It's short, sweet, and genuinely one of the best free experiences on Steam.
music was holy Patches my boy and yes the view was almost worth it 10/10 wish i could 100 percent it but im no gamer
I downloaded a free platformer expecting a cute sheep and 20 minutes of jumping. Instead I got gorgeous pixel art, great music, creepy atmosphere, and a game that had absolutely no business being this polished.
I cant think of any other pixel art game that had better animation then this one. And that bear is such an aura farmer and he’s op too kinda tuff.
A random piece of junk
Flaws

This game is the definition of emptiness. Platforming sections are as generic as they can be; fights are the same. It’s like a walking simulator with basically nothing to look at and nothing to listen to.
I generally don’t criticize graphics, but here they are quite the blurry mess. The camera frequently zooms in and out, which does not work well for pixel art.

Common Flaws

Yet another game that tries to make you believe it has some kind of story, whereas it has none. The Portal-inspired narration is gibberish.
Yet another game with a ridiculous amount of screen shake. The "vibrations" setting is for gamepad vibrations; disabling it has no effect.
Yet another game that autosaves on every occasion: impossible to backtrack even a little bit to pick up collectibles.

Inconveniencies

Exiting to the title screen takes 10 freaking seconds and a dedicated loading screen — and it’s probably by design…
Collectibles are not displayed anywhere.
has good platforming but its boring af
