So much content, I'm overwhelmed in the best way possible. It has like over 220 Characters and a LOT of items and stages, and they keep pumping these numbers with inexpensive DLCs. You get a lot of bang for cheap. A perfect game to just put your feet up, listen to a banger soundtrack, and watch your character delete 100.000 enemies from existence. Onto the negatives: - Ugly Main Menu, some options just look off and look stretched. - Transparent Black bars on the sides for no reason, it's not even for rendering reasons, since you can see everything being properly rendered. Your only option is to make it solid black...Just gives us an option to remove it please. That's...it pretty much. I'm REALLY enjoying it. I'm still getting bombarded with new characters.
Epilepsy warning at the start of an indie game = instant masterpiece. Love it.
Vampire Survivors - та самая игра которая тебя затягивает. Игра становится имбой под фоном какого-то видео. Игра не сложная, очень мало стоит. Всем советую к покупке.
You know it, you love it, so buy it already.
this game does not challenge you in any meaningful way. it does not get harder as it goes on, if anything it gets easier. that aside, it's really surprising to me that despite how varied my taste in games usually is i find this to be utterly devoid of any real enjoyment. i feel nothing after spending 30 minutes (30 minutes is a strict requirement to finish a run) essentially just gambling and dodging a little bit of projectiles... i went over the tiny little learning curve and then it's just devoid of anything. it reminds me of one of those simulator games i played on roblox as a kid. if you think you want to play this game, you want to play any number of bullet hells directly inspired by it like picayune dreams.
I guess it was cool when just came up. Nowsays there are so much better games of this genre that solved most of the issues of VS. This is the reason I don't recommend spending time and money on the game. I think instead of releasing ton of dlcs, the could just release VS2, fixing issues and enriching the gameplay
First time playing the game, played one multiplayer run and became soft-locked around the 20 minute mark at a level up screen. Game became completely unresponsive, unable to confirm a selection or even move the cursor to select an item with a controller, keyboard controls did nothing, clicking on the UI did nothing. I had to alt+F4 the game, which erased any progress I made during the run so, no unlocks or rewards for my time. We figured this was a fluke of some kind, so we decided to try another run. We got 27 minutes into the second run until the same exact glitch happened soft-locking the game once again, forcing me to alt+F4 again, erasing any progress again. Nearly two hours wasted entirely with nothing to show for it, massively disappointing for the game to be this unstable, after how well it's been talked about. Game was fun, when it wasn't freezing. Genuinely unfortunate.
The multiplayer mechanics certainly were a choice. I suppose I made the mistake of playing a game inspired by this first - Spell Brigade - and thus felt frustrated rather than entertained when playing with friends. If you die you will likely just get stuck. Instead of everyone getting to pick skills or having a hance of getting treasure loot you just... wait. And often just die again as the monsters stick around (while yes, it makes sense to a degree and I can understand why the monsters right at your body get stronger, but after that they should leave and look for the next living player) So you get no improvement and just flee while everyone else has a chance at improving. While I believe that there are new potentially fun combos to unlock I'd rather play a different game in co-op. Also I hate the music.
