200+ hours in this game and I still can't get enough of it. ULTRAKILL is probably one of the most fun games I've ever played. The sheer SPEED of this game is dubling insane. Everything is constantly happening at once, and the game basically rewards you for being as aggressive, fast and insane as possible. The combat feels incredible once you start getting good at it. There are so many weapons, mechanics and movement options that you can constantly find new ways to kill things, and when you actually pull off something clean, it feels flipping amazing. And the OST. HOLY DINGLY. The music in this game is genuinely some of the best I've heard in a game. Every level can have you fighting for your life while some absolutely ridiculous track is blasting in the background. It makes the fights feel SO much more intense. The bosses are another huge highlight. Their dialogue, speeches and voice lines are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. Some of them are genuinely funny, some are intimidating, and some just make you go "OH THIS IS FLIPPING INSANE." And somehow, despite everything going on at 300 km/h, this game still looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful. The visual style is so good, and it runs incredibly well too. I can actually get really solid FPS while the game is throwing a million things at me. I've got around 200 hours in ULTRAKILL and I still haven't gotten bored of it. This isn't just a game I like. This is the kind of game that makes me wish I could erase my memory and play it for the first time again. 10/10. Free at last,
Why. Cant. I. ♥♥♥♥. The. ROBOT. Why. Cant. I. ♥♥♥♥. The. MINDFLAYER. Why. Cant. I. ♥♥♥♥. The. GABRIEL. Why. Cant. I. ♥♥♥♥. The. PRIME SOULS. For, what is a bird's purpose without wings? It mirrors my situation. A thing, unable to serve it's purpose. It angers me, how we came so close to greatness, But stop at the climax. Why, I ask Why? Why must you torture me, Hakita? Why stop here? It troubles me. The bodypillows were a step closer, But my hunger groans for more. Please, I need more. Oh why do I have this desire? ...
