Command or corrupt an entire galaxy in the definitive Star Wars strategy collection. It is a time of galactic civil war. Will you take up the reins of the Rebellion, assume control of the Empire, or rule the Star Wars Underworld?

love the game, mods make it twice as fun like fall of the republic, but that might just be cause i love the clones
The game is well balanced and offers new experiences every time. The mod community is outstanding as well.
No matter how hard i try i cant find a game that scratches my rts itch like this one. the closest i get is halo wars but, it just. it just isnt this.
Best game i've ever played in my life. Please male a second game the people need it
Binding arbitration clause added years after this game came out. Seriously?
It deletes all your mods so don't get it
It’s hard to recommend if you don’t have any nostalgia for it. There’s way too much micro management needed, it’s not the fun and efficient use of resources type micromanaging, it’s the ‘my units can’t do the most basic ♥♥♥♥’ type of micromanaging. They get stuck being geometry, they get stuck behind other units, and sometimes they just ignore commands for no obvious reason. They aren’t smart enough to surround a building so all units can fire on it, you have to manually position them, otherwise they won’t put themselves in range to attack. Even then, for most close range units they’ll walk right up the target and just stare at it, you have to manually walk them around the target until you find the perfect angle they’ll attack from. If the game had any quality of life tools to facilitate all the necessary micro managing, then I could recommend Empire At War, but it doesn’t.
Not what I remembered as a kid. It's no fun trying to play a campaign where you get harassed every 2 minutes by yet another space fleet. The game was breaking my **** faster than I could build it, and that was on Easy. Might be good for you if you have chronically low blood pressure and need a fix, otherwise you're likely to burst something important.
