this game will make you want to proudly sip coffee from your world's best dad mug as you watch your daughter marry the princess and become the world's strongest lesbian
Volcano Princess is an hidden gem. I discovered it by chance, and I am so glad I gave it a try. This game is cute, well crafted and you can see the love the devs put into it, whether in terms of story, art or even gameplay. It represents well its genre or "raise your kid" simulator added with compelling characters and a daughter who is so adorable and well written. I think the main selling point would be its replayability. The game truly does not lie to you when it tells you there is multiple endings ; you will want to see more of them ! It's one of those games that you download again once in a while, do a run, uninstall, and reinstall later when the itch is being scratched (maybe I just did that to try another run, who knows....) I can only recommend Volcano Princess on these terms, and also the devs are planning their next game, Moon Princess, in the same vibe, so if you like Volcano Princess, keep an eye on their studio !!
This game is fantastic, at first glance you’d think maybe this game isn’t for you (I thought similarly), but it was genuinely so engaging with an amazing cast of characters and great story paths
never been more proud of my daughter than when she was cracking both siblings of the royal family simultaneously
I was really enjoying this game so far, but now I really wish I didn’t go past the 2 hr mark. At first I thought Hackett was just being friendly and silly and only coming off as creepy when he a grown adult was talking about how happy he was meeting a beautiful girl (my 13 yo child) but then I got his heart event and he was blatantly flirting. 20 year old man flirting with a barely a teen girl WTF? Saying he can only hope she’d be his GF???? Since I’m already past the refund mark, if I can bring myself to (I’m feeling really, honestly sick) I’ll play and just ignore that disgusting cretin. But why is there only 2 kids her age? For me those are the ONLY options (maybe the two boys that are a couple years older) and that’s so damn limiting. So, with that, I cannot reasonably and in good conscience recommend this absolute degeneracy. I just wonder why when I looked at the reviews I saw no one mentioning this? I would NOT have bought this game.
